CAPT Annual Scientific Forum: CPT 2008
One of the primary functions of the Canadian Association of Population Therapeutics is to organize a forum for the reporting, scientific discussion, and dissemination of the data derived from population-based studies of drug and other therapeutic interventions. For 2008, we have decided to hold our forum within the World Conference on Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (CPT 2008) in recognition of our association with the Canadian Society for Clinical Pharmacology (CSCP) through the Canadian Therapeutics Congress (CTC). CPT 2008 will take place from July 27 - August 1, 2008 at the Québec City Convention Centre.
Information on CPT 2008 (e.g., Scientific Programme) can be found at: www.cpt2008.com

Abstracts must be submitted to CPT 2008 on-line at: www.cpt2008.com/e_call/call_e.shtml
CAPT has 11 hours of programming available on Monday, July 28 and Tuesday, July 29th and your Scientific Committee members (Daria O’Reilly, Nicole Mittmann, Angela Rocchi and Michael Iskedjian) are working hard to provide you with a programme rich in core CAPT areas, namely pharmacoepidemiology and decision-making methodology sessions. There will also be substantial opportunities for submitted podium abstracts.
We are attempting to determine if our submitted poster abstracts can be available for presentation on (12:15-14:00h) July 28th and/or July 29th.
The CPT 2008 organizing committee is comprised of the Canadian Society for Clinical Pharmacology (CSCP) and the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR). Dr. Mitch Levine is CAPT’s representative on the committee. Please direct any queries about this forum to: Kris Schindel and she will distribute them accordingly for response...

Further information will be posted as it becomes available.
